Late-breaking Abstract
Abstract submission has been closed on August 23, however, we assume there are some more researchers with latest accomplishments. To make the meeting more meaningful, we would like to call for “Late-breaking Abstracts” from those who could not make it in time for the former deadline.

<Important notes>
- Those who submitted an abstract by August 23 or appointed speakers of symposia/workshops cannot submit a late-breaking abstract.
- Presentation style for late-breaking abstracts is poster presentation only. Late-breaking abstracts will not be accepted for oral presentations at workshops.
- The posters of late-breaking abstracts will be located separately from those of related topics submitted by August 23.
<Requirements for Presenter>
- A membership of MBSJ is a must. Also, payment of annual membership fee for 2021 must be completed.
If you are not a member, please apply for a membership first. For those who have not paid this year’s annual membership fee, please complete the payment as soon as possible. - Please note that presenters need to pay the registration fee of the annual meeting in addition to the admission fee and annual membership fee of MBSJ society.
- Those who registered as “Non-member” and “Undergraduate Student” CANNOT submit an abstract.
- Please complete registration prior to abstract submission.
- Abstracts must be submitted by presenters.
The name of the person who submitted an abstract will be automatically marked as the presenter in the online abstracts. - Only one abstract can be submitted per person as a presenter.
You can be a presenter for only one abstract. Those who submitted an abstract by August 23 or appointed speakers of symposia/workshops cannot submit a late-breaking abstract. - Abstract submissions and revisions will not be accepted after the deadline.
How to submit

Please access Abstract Submission Page and complete advance registration first according to the instructions. - Topic
Please choose 1 topic for your abstract from the List of Topics.. - Title, Authors, Affiliations and Abstracts
The target of the search function of the online abstracts is the word included in any of “title”, “authors”, “affiliations”.
Please include appropriate wording for search keyword in the title.
The abstract body should be less than 1,700 characters (not words) in English. - Authors’ Index
Author’s index will be created based on the names entered by the authors. If the spelling of the name is different, it will not be shown as the same person on the online abstracts. - Confirmation Notice
Confirmation message will be sent automatically to the registered e-mail address after completion of abstract submission. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within a few minutes, please log in the system again and check if your abstract submission has been completed properly. - View/Edit of Submitted Abstracts
You can modify submitted abstract by logging in the system only during the submission period. A confirmation e-mail will be sent each time an abstract is updated.
Revision of abstracts are not accepted after the submission period. Please pay attention to Greek alphabet, Italic, superscript, subscript, and mathematical expression. - Withdrawal of Submitted Abstracts
You can withdraw submitted abstract by logging in the system only during the submission period. - Notice of Acceptance / Rejection
Notice of Acceptance/Rejection will be sent by e-mail in late October.
