Symposium

Impact of Protein Science to the Community: AMED-BINDS and beyond [Session Language: Japanese]

June 16 (Wed)  9:45 - 12:15
Organizers:  Kohei Tsumoto (The University of Tokyo)
  Haruki Nakamura (Osaka University)

Protein science has been developed to reveal the principle of life, and the outcome gives a large impact to the community. The BINDS program (Basis for Supporting Innovative Drug Discovery and Life Science Research), which is promoted by AMED, has been running since April 2017 for five years to support drug discovery and life science research. In this symposium, the products of BINDS and its future direction will be discussed together with the scientific response to COVID-19.
