For High School Students from Abroad
We invite high school students for poster presentations. Recently, research works by high school students have been promoted by introduction of Super Science High Schools (SSH) project by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). Many of them have presented at the scientific meetings not only in Japan but also in the world. We, the Biophysics Society of Japan, set opportunity for high school students to present their research results as posters in the previous annual meeting.
If you would like to present your research in the next annual meeting of the Biophysical Society of Japan in Takasaki, Gunma, Japan, please prepare the presentation according to the following instructions. Official language of the meeting is English, and thus you can present your poster written in English and discuss your research results with other participants in English.
(1) Registration will start from 14th of April and end at 30th of June in 2020. Registration requires a number of information, so please be prepared.
(2) For registration, you have to fill all of information to be requested. Some of them have restrictions for the number of characters such as “Title of poster”: 138 characters, “Abstract”: 780 characters.
(3) If you apply your presentation individually, you will fill all information by yourself. In that case, please provide your E-mail address to us. This E-mail address should be active like the one you usualy use. And also you must select pull-down menu in [High School Presentation] in the page of “Registration type”. In this case, only one title in the meeting can be presented.
(4) In case of school application, fill all information by a teacher or representative of the school. In this case, teacher or representative must select pull-down menu in [High School Presentation] in the page of “Registration type”. Multiple presentation from the same school is possible by selecting the number of presentations in the menu.
(5) In the poster presentation section, there is no distinction between high school presentation and society member presentation. The participants will be able to discuss without any difference.
