Information for Participants
1. Format
The annual meeting will be held in-person format. However, some events, such as the General Assembly, the General Assembly Symposium, and the Early Career Award in Biophysics Candidate Presentations, are planned to be streamed online exclusively for society members. Further details will be provided on the annual meeting website.
2. Registration
Early bird registration
For those who have registered during the "early bird registration" period: A name badge and a receipt will be sent in advance, and "Banquet" is printed on the name badge for those who have registered for the banquet. Also, a QR code containing the information about your name, affiliation, Registration ID, and e-mail address is printed on the name badge if you agreed to it when you registered. This QR code will be required for participating in the stamp rally at the exhibition and for attending BP seminars.
Name badge holders will be distributed near the registration desk. Please be sure to wear your name badge at the venue.
On-site registration
On-site registration is available at the registration desk for those who have not completed early bird registration. Only cash payment is accepted.

The Biophysical Society of Japan desk
Application for membership and payment of the annual membership fee can be made at the Biophysical Society of Japan desk located at the registration area.
3. Program booklet / Proceedings
A program booklet has been sent in advance to members of the Biophysical Society of Japan and non-members who have registered during the early registration period.

*Program and proceedings will be made available without password on the website of the Biophysical Society of Japan and in "Seibutsu Butsuri" on J-STAGE after the annual meeting.
*The Confit web version (online abstract collection) is not available for this year's annual meeting.
4. On the day of the annual meeting
Language
As a general rule, English is the language used. However, High school & KOSEN students presentation, Gender equality promotion and young researchers support symposium, General Assembly Symposium, Career support event, KAKENHI guide meeting, and BP seminars (in part) will be held in Japanese.
Internet access (Wi-Fi)
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire building. The SSID and password will be posted at the venue on the day of the annual meeting.
General assembly / Assembly symposium
Please join the general assembly / assembly symposium of the Biophysical Society of Japan which will be held in Room K (Tempyo Hall) on September 25 from 12:45 to 13:55.
Early Career Award in Biophysics Candidate Presentation Symposium
Early Career Award in Biophysics Candidate Presentation Symposium, which is the selection for the 21st early career award, will be held in Room K (Tempyo Hall) on September 24 from 9:00 to 11:30. The award ceremony will be held in the banquet on the next day.
Cloakroom
Please be advised that valuables, computers etc. are not accepted as we are not responsible for any loss or damage. Umbrellas are also not accepted.

Lunch
Free box lunch and tea will be provided at Biophysics seminars (September 24-26), Career support event (September 24), Gender equality promotion and young researchers support symposium (September 26), and KAKENHI guide meeting (September 26). To receive it, a numbered ticket which is to be distributed on the day is required. Numbered tickets will be distributed as follows.
Location : Near the Registration Desk, Foyer, 1F, Nara Prefectural Convention Center Open hours: 8:15~11:00 each day
*Numbered tickets will only be distributed for the sessions that will be held on the same day. Ticket distribution will be closed when all the tickets are distributed.
*Please note that the tickets will become invalid when you do not arrive before the start time and lunches will be served to those who attend without the ticket.
*Biophysics seminars are co-sponsored seminars supported by companies and organizations. If you attend the seminars, please stay until the end and be sure to answer a questionnaire with your name and affiliation. We kindly ask for your cooperation.
*As the number of box lunches is limited, please also consider using restaurants and convenience stores located in the tourism promotion facility next to the convention center.
Exhibition
An exhibition of equipment, reagents, and other related items will be held in the Convention Hall (A+B). We have also designated specific "Recommended Times for Visiting Exhibition Booths," so we encourage all participants to actively visit the company booths. In addition, a stamp rally will be held on the day of the event. Details of the stamp rally will be announced on the official website.
Parking
Paid parking is available at the venue, but please use public transportation as a general rule.
Child care
Day care service will be available. Please visit the annual meeting website for more information.
Welcome Reception
The welcome reception will be held as follows:

We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy local sake from Nara and engage in meaningful discussions. Light snacks and refreshments will also be provided for those participating in the night sessions. You may bring light snacks to the venues for the Mini Symposium and Evening Session. Please feel free to drop by.

*On-site registration will be available, but please register early as it is limited.
Closing ceremony
A closing ceremony will be held in the poster/exhibition hall (Convention Hall A+B) after the poster presentations on September 26. The winners of the student presentation award will be also announced at the ceremony. We look forward to your participation.
5. Prohibitions
1) Giving login ID and password to a third party is prohibited.
2) Photography and audio/video recordings with any devices are prohibited in the lecture rooms and other areas of the venue.
