4. Kagami-Biraki ceremony celebrating the 100th anniversary (The speech for “Physiology Day”)

The 10th of July, the date which the first meeting of the Physiological Society of Japan was held, has been set as “Physiology Day” for the purposes of celebrating 100th anniversary of the society and making a much wider audience aware of physiological research.
Corresponding to that, we will hold Kagami-Biraki ceremony and Japan Anniversary Association will deliver a commemorative speech.
We will take all necessary measures to prevent infection to hold the ceremony and would like to ask for attendees’ cooperation in preventing the spread of infection.

5. Physiological Reports Poster Award

“Physiological Reports”, the joint journal of the Physiological Society and American Physiological Society (published by Wiley), presides over “Physiological Reports Poster Award”.

We have invited applications for this award from graduate students. Two award winners will be selected. The winners will receive a certificate and a cash prize of 250 USD, and will be announced on the website and SNS of Physiological Reports. The Program Committee selects six candidate by reviewing submitted abstracts, then two winners will be selected through their poster presentations at the meeting.

6. High school / Undergraduate Students Session

In addition to regular sessions, we have invited papers from high school and undergraduate students and have “High school/Undergraduate Students Session” to give them an opportunity to have discussions with researchers. Young Scientist Awards will be given to those who made excellent presentations.
