Presentation style
- All the general presentations at the 60th annual meeting will be posters. You can make a presentation online, but please consider on-site first.
- All presenters are requested to upload the image file (e-poster) of poster to Confit (online conference system). Participants will be able to view the e-posters and leave comments throughout the meeting and the presenters will be notified by e-mail when a comment is posted. The presenters are asked to check the comment section appropriately and reply to discuss with participants.
- Poster panels will be prepared for all posters at the venue. Please put up your poster and make a presentation if you are on-site. The
mandatory presentation time is 1 hour.
If you wish, presentation using a breakout room in Zoom will be available. The time slot for presentation will be after the mandatory presentation time in-person. The length will be 30 minutes. Please prepare presentation materials as needed.
Requirements for presenter
- If your affiliation is in Japan and you are not a member of BSJ, please register yourself as a BSJ member via BSJ website first.
- If your affiliation is outside Japan and you are not a member of BSJ, you can submit an abstract with the benefit same as BSJ member (member rate charge).
- Members of the Physical Society of Japan, the Biophysical Society of Australia, the Japanese Society of Microscopy, or the Molecular Biology Society of Japan can submit abstracts as the same condition as BSJ members.
- For the symposium abstract submission, BSJ membership is not required.
- If You are students or postdoctoral researchers, you can apply for "Pick-up to Symposium".
- As in the previous year, we welcome presentations by high school students and technical school students (1st-3rd year of regular course). Please read "For High School & Technical School Students" and prepare a presentation. It is not required to be a member to make a presentation for high school students and technical school students (1st-3rd year of regular course).
Online submission
- Please submit the abstract via "Online Registration".
- If You are students or postdoctoral researchers, you can apply for "Pick-up to Symposium".
- Please note that the online system functions slowly just before the deadline, because of the heavy access traffic.
- Required items to complete the abstract submission:
- All authors' affiliations
- Authors' names
- Title (up to 138 single-byte letters, including spaces)
- Abstract body (up to 780 single-byte letters, including spaces)
- Category (List of categories is available here. Choose "00. Symposium" if submitting symposium abstract)
Confirmation Mail
Confirmation e-mail will be sent automatically to the registered e-mail address after completing the registration.
If the confirmation e-mail has not been received within a few minutes, please contact the support desk.(bsj2022sys-sprt@nacos.com)
A confirmation e-mail may not delivered to free e-mail address. Please register e-mail address of the organization.
Confirm /Edit / Withdrawal of submitted abstracts
The abstract can be confirmed, edited or withdrawn during the submission period. But after the submission period is closed, the abstract is fixed.
General poster presentation
Please put up your poster on the panel on the designated one day only.
